Bassenthwaite Reflections is about getting people interested and involved in the landscape of the Bassenthwaite catchment. There are four volunteer groups who hold regular activities.

Masmill Oakwoods volunteers - this group is helping to manage an area of native woodland at Whinlatter Forest Park. Click here to go to the Masmill Oakwoods page for more information.

Dubwath Silver Meadows - this group helps to care for a small wetland nature reserve at the foot of Bassenthwaite Lake. They also hold regular events. Click here to go to the Dubwath Silver Meadows website for more information

Young Osprey Volunteers - this group is set up for young people (aged 11-16) to help the Lake District Osprey Project share the wonder of the Bassenthwaite Ospreys with visitors. It is part of the Birds Eye View Project. Click here to go to the project page.

Unlocking Hidden Heritage - this is a community archaeology project exploing the ancient history of the catchment through field surveys. Click here to go to the project page for more information.
